Lady GaGa Recreated Super Bowl 50 Makeup Look
I watched Super Bowl 50 on Sunday and the national anthem was sung by Lady GaGa. She wore a beautiful two piece bright red metallic pants suit and wore very soft subtle makeup. Now her eye makeup was very loud. It consisted of a bright red shadow with bright red glitter and lashes. I felt the eye makeup looked to harsh but she still looked beautiful.

Super Bowl 50 Recap & Highlights
We started the evening off with Lady Gaga singing the national anthem. Now her attire was basic lady Gaga but what had everyone talking was the eye makeup she chose. It was a heaven shade of red with glitter and my opinion it was a bit much but she sang like her life depended on it.
Let us not forget the most important part of Super Bowl 50 which is the half time show. It consisted of musical legends Coldplay, The Queen Beyonce & pop super star Bruno Mars. Now when you think of these three together you think yikes this will be a huge clash. With beyonce being a diva an all, Bruno Mars being a laid back divo lol & Coldplay with the feel good music but it was actually all blended to perfection. Coldplay opened with a medley of hits, including "Viva La Vida," "Paradise" and "Adventure of a Lifetime," on a rainbow-colored stage. The Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles accompanied the band led by Chris Martin. It was a beautiful display, but clearly just an opening act for the Mars/The Bey takeover. I absolutely loved he show. Bruno did a lot more dancing than usual but it was perfect. He sang his hit song "Uptown Funk" with a bit of MC Hammer sound incorporated in the music. Beyonce looked flawless and in sync with her dancers and performing her newest single which dropped yesterday called "Formation" and the ending with all three singing Coldplay's "Up & Up" together was just a beautiful sight.
Lastly let us recognize the commercials.... Moment of silence. Anyway some where good some were bad and then some were REALLY BAD!!! I can't imagine spending millions on a super bowl commercial and it being horribly bad but that's life. You win some and you lose some.
This is my brief summary of the Super Bowl 50.

GREASE LIVE
With Grease being my favorite movie of all time I had to watch the new 2016 Grease Live. It aired tonight live on FOX and my honest opinion about it was I was very happy that they were able to match majority of the characters to perfection compared to the original. I also love that they added an African-American cast member for the show which was Ms. KeKe Palmer.
I enjoyed listening to all of the original songs like "hand jive, grease lightening, beauty school drop out etc..." and some of the dance moves that were used in the original Grease movie. The wardrobe was phenomenal. I'm just watching everyone move from scene to scene in the live version and changing characters and sciences like clockwork was amazing.
The character Rizzo which is played by Vanessa Hudgens looked so much like her. Also keep in mind Vanessa Hudgens' father passed away from stage 4 cancer a few hours before the show which is heart breaking but she held it together and played her role like a champ. My condolences to her and her family.
I was so excited and it brought so many happy memories of my childhood sitting here watching this live version. It just reminded me of how much I enjoyed performing and singing. I was sitting in my living room doing the hand jive and my son was like mom what are you doing... Lol.
Lets not forget the special celebrity cameos from Mario Lopez, Boyz 2 Men, Joe Jonas and a few others. I will say the overall performance for Grease Live was 4 1/2 stars out of 5. If you didn't see this you missed out on a really good show but I'm sure it'll be available on Hulu. So be sure to check it out. If you're a huge Grease fan like myself you will love the live version of Grease. Thats just my thoughts to you.
Thanks for checking on my blog, hope to speak with you soon! Drop me a line below!!!! Bye

Now I know it can be hard to decide what to wear and how you want to look for your special date night so here are four looks that I have created. The looks vary from glamorous, colorful and even soft and sexy. Depending on your style each look can be rocked and execute it for the perfect Valentine's Day.
Look 1
This is a smokey glam eye with black winged liner and a nude lip. For my eyes I used anise color above my crease a a transition color, a shimmery black in my crease and a silvery blue color on my Lids. This look is perfect for late dinner outing or club scene. Hair can be worn down or pulled back in a simple ponytail.
Look 2
This is a colorful glam eye. I used a soft gold above the crease as a transition color, a green in the crease a dark brown in the putter corner of the crease and a hot pink on my lids. To add a little bling I added some pink glitter to the lids. And my lip is a pretty pink. This look is perfect for a day outting to a festival or out door concert or salsa dancing.
Look 3
Look 4
This is a smokey eye. I used a light brown as a transition color above my crease, used a black on my crease and lids and added some white glitter to the lids. Next I added a plum color winged liner and some lashes. I also used a similar plum color on my lip. This look is great for night dates or clubbing. As for my hair I call it bed hair. Lol

Great Anti Itch Oil
Hey everyone,
Ive been getting a lot of questions on whats a great anti itch oil or grease when wearing weaves.
Well just to say I have tried them all from braid sprays, to loose oils to greases and my favorite grease that prevents itch and dandruff is Sulfur 8 light. Its in a white and light blue bottle and can be purchased ar your local beauty supply store. I have extemely dry scalp and would be forced to take my weave out within 3 weeks because of the itching and bad dandruff. Now I braid my hair for my sew in and apply Sulfur 8 light in between the braids and no itch or dandruff. My weave lasts about 2 and a half months now. Its only $5.99 and you dont have to use a lot.

What's the Expiration on My Makeup?
Ladies lets say you are like me and love, love, love to makeup shop. I also switch purses often so sometimes I leave behind my fave lipsticks, mascara etc... Then i cant find things and time flies by. I finally find my fave lipstick in my old purse or under the bed or wherever and its been a year or sometimes longer. (wow)
Or I have opened my favorite mascara and its all dried out. (gross)
So the question is what is the expiration dates on the items in your beauty bag? When should you throw it away?
Great question....
Here's a list of some of the things you may have in your beauty bag and how long you should keep it before throwing it out.

2 Ways Of Creating A Realistic Part In Your Closure
Hi there ladies,
Today I will be discussing a way to make the part in your closure look more realistic.
In case you are not sure what a closure is I will elaborate. A closure is a unit of hair on a silk/ lace flat base and looks almost like a wig scalp. The closure is normally placed at the top frontal area of your head.
Below is a step by step video on how to bleach knots on a closure.

| This is a virgin hair silk closure. |
There are many ways to apply a closure in which we will not discuss today. There are a few ways to customize the closure part.
So, the 1st technique to make your part look realistic is the bleaching of the knots. (Say what? Whats a knot?)
The knots are the little dark root fibers that connect the strand of hairs to the lace or silk base. Normally looks like black dots at the root. Most people take bleaching powder and 20-40 volume developer, mix it and apply to the lace or silk area for a few minutes. ( not to the actual side with hair) This method will lighten the knots and make the scalp of the closure look more realistic.
| Top Photo is before bleaching. Bottom photo is after bleaching. |
The 2nd technique is the tweezing method. This technique consist of you actually using tweezers and tweezing a few hair out of the parted line in the closure. This way you are pulling the undefined hairs out the part of scalp of the closure and it will blend better. No mess, no hassle.
When you are done with your desired part area your closure should look like this in the completed stage.

Fall is here and it time to add more darker colors to you waredrobe and makeup. Heres a look

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish Review
So there's a new gel polish that you don't need a UV light for and it last. Its called "Miracle gel" by Sally Hansen. Its a two polish system and works extremely well. I tried the 120 Bare Dare which is like a nude or taupe color for $7.49 each on Ulta's website. I put about 3 coats on the make the color more vibrant. I also used Sinful Colors number 1391 "Gold Tinsel" on my ring fingers to add a little shimmer and pop to my mani. That one only cost $1.99 at Walgreens. Both product work very well together and look amazing. It also is a great feeling to save money, bye bye no chip manicures.
I give both products two thumbs up and be sure to pick them up immediately!

How To Do A Sew In With Leave Out
We all know the old saying "anything that's easy isn't worth having". Well I'm here to prove that wrong. There are some very simple and easy methods to wear your hair extensions and it will look all natural. This method is called the sew in with leave out.
Some women chose to wear a sew in because they are natural and its less maintenance. While some women wear them because their hair is thinning or has always been thin. Others wears sew ins tochange the legnth to short or longer. Sew ins create more volume and a fuller look and can make you feel more confident.
Many celebrities have been using this method for many years. Your sew in will look as if it is growing from your scalp. And oh, the many things you can do with it... You can wear it in a bun, a ponytail and the list goes on and on. One install can last anywhere from 2 to 3 months depending on how well you take care of it. Everyone loves the convenience of not having to go to the salon every two weeks and also saving a few bucks.
So I'm excited today to show you how to install a sew in.
Here's what you'll need to get started:
-hooked needles
-thread
-bundles of hair weave (2-3)
-comb
-flat iron/curling tool
-oil spray
-light holding mist
1. Braid your hair in a braiding pattern to create a base. Section off you leave out which will more than likely be in the top front of your head and maybe around your edges if you plan on pulling it up from time to time.
2. Place your hair net over your head and sew down the perimeter. If you choose to not use a net thats fine. (You do have the option to use a net for better security and a more flatter look or not. Some people like to get to their scalps for washing and oiling, in that case no net will be needed.)
3. Begin sewing the bundle of hair on to the bottom and work your way to the top crown of your head using the flip over method. (Flip over method means do not cut your tracks just flip them over at the end of each row and continue sewing in the opposite direction)
4. Cut and style hair using your flat iron/curling tool and your done.
5. Last, flip your hair and remember girls just wanna have fun.
